DCMA Offsite

The DCMA is frequently represented by staff and volunteers at events and locations throughout the community, and beyond.  From offsite artifact displays at Theatre Orangeville, libraries, trade shows and farmers’ markets; to providing interesting speakers and topics for community celebrations and commemorations; to judging antiques at local and area fall fairs; the DCMA is “out there” and often in your neighbourhood!  Come check us out, and take the opportunity to ask questions and pick-up the latest information from us. 

 

St. Paul's Anglican Church 100th Anniversary

Orangeville’s 150th Birthday Bash!

Activities will highlight Orangeville’s history, heritage, arts and culture. Visit Dufferin County Courthouse to see a display from the Dufferin County Museum & Archives featuring artifacts from 150 years of Orangeville history. The celebration will include local performers on stage outside the Town Hall, horse and wagon/buggy heritage tours, heritage walking tours, storytelling at the library, a juried art show and much more. Dufferin Town and Country Farm Tour

This annual self-guided driving tour will have stops at working farms in Dufferin. The host farms offer a glimpse of the diversity of agriculture within Dufferin County. Take the opportunity to talk directly with farmers, see agriculture production in action, participate in farm related activities, and buy local produce. Passports will be available for pick up on the day of the tour. Dufferin Piecemakers Quilting Guild Show- The Magic of Cloth Act V ~ Five Times a Charm

Join the Dufferin Piecemakers Quilting Guild and supporters of the DCMA for a charming good time featuring more than 300 quilted items created by group members. In addition to a DCMA display, enjoy a tea room for your refreshment, Merchants’ Mall to re-stock your quilting supplies, a Members Boutique with handmade gifts, a Quilt Raffle and Mini Quilt Draw. Get your quilt appraised by Judy Lyons, take the Northcott and Student quilting challenge to demonstrate your creativity. Free parking & fully accessible.
