The beaver contributed more to Canadian history than any other animal. From the earliest fur trade to the minting of currency, the beaver and its image has been a symbol of Canada for centuries. This weekend features fur trade programs for children, a special speaker each day at 1 pm and a unique two day exhibit of the beaver used on everything from jars to company logos. We will tell native stories of the beaver and have information on the beaver today and its place in conservation and its changing place in Canadian history.
Cost: Tickets $10 or $5 for DCMA members
