Rural Dufferin history is as much about animals as it is about people. They provided food and a work force for early pioneers and often provided income necessary to run a family farm. They were loved as pets but also were the cause of farm accidents and needed constant feeding and care. This weekend talks of our relationships with cows, sheep, horses, goats, chickens and anything else you might see wandering around a farm yard. Special displays from the DCMA collection include local dairy bottles, cream cans and butter boxes. Demonstrations will include live animals and birds on site.
