Jeremy Bauman, Viola

The Dufferin County Museum & Archives is pleased to present renowned symphony musicians performing classical and contemporary favourites in this series of concerts in Historic Corbetton Church on the Museum grounds. 

The DCMA’s 2012 summer concert series concludes with a performance from violist Jeremy Bauman on Aug. 12, beginning at 7 p.m.

A native of Waterloo, Bauman is currently a member of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, Florida, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas.

In addition to playing music at the Aurora Chamber Music Festival in Vanersborg, Sweden, and Canadian festivals such as the Banff Summer Masterclasses, Orford Arts Centre, and National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Bauman will cross the Atlantic to play with the Aldeburgh World Orchestra this summer.As part of that orchestra, Bauman will play at the Cultural Olympiad in London to celebrate the 2012 Olympics, and also perform at Concertgebouw Hall in Amsterdam.
