If you know a child that loves to get messy and be hands-on, this camp is for them! Learn all about the world of archaeology through hands-on digs, excavation, crafts and outdoor activities.
On the final day of camp, they will host their very own exhibit of all of their findings!
FANTASY CAMP
July 13th-17th | Ages 8-12 | $250 + HST
Fantasy Camp is calling all fun adventurers!
This immersive summer camp is perfect for campers who love all things myth, fantasy, and medieval lore. Step into a world of legendary heroes, epic quests, and ancient tales brought to life through games, creativity, and imagination.
Special Guests: Knight School Inc. will join us to teach campers about the history of knights and introduce exciting no-contact stage combat, giving campers a safe and engaging way to experience medieval storytelling and action. ART MANIA JR. CAMP
July 20th-24th | Ages 5-7 | $250 + HST
Calling young artists!
Campers will learn about a variety of artistic mediums such as drawing, painting and sculpting. We’ll also get messy using tie-dye and playing art themed games throughout the week.
Each camper will have a chance to create multiple artworks to be displayed in their own exhibit!
NATURE EXPLORERS CAMP
August 4th-7th* | Ages 8-12 | $200 + HST

Nature Explorers Camp invites curious campers to discover the wonders of the natural world!
Each day features a different nature-themed adventure, exploring topics like animals, insects, groundwater, plants, and more. Campers will enjoy hands-on games and creative crafts inspired by nature, including activities about pollination, natural dyes, and other fascinating processes.
With plenty of outdoor fun in our historic garden and across the museum grounds, this camp is perfect for young explorers who love learning, creating, and playing in nature.
MINI MYSTERY CAMP
August 10th-14th | Ages 5-7 | $250 + HST
Do you know a junior detective who loves solving mysteries? Then this is the camp for them!
At Mini Mystery Camp, young sleuths will discover what it takes to crack a case at the museum through hands-on activities and teamwork. Campers will explore detective skills like footprint analysis, clue gathering, observation, and decoding secret messages and riddles. Along the way, they’ll work together to follow leads, solve puzzles, and piece together evidence to uncover the mystery.
This playful and interactive camp encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and imagination—perfect for budding detectives ready for their first big case!
CSI MYSTERY CAMP
August 17th-21st | Ages 8-12 | $250 + HST
We’re looking for top-notch detectives ready to take on a challenging mystery at the museum!
In CSI: Camp Scene Investigation, campers will step into the role of real crime scene investigators and learn what it takes to solve a case from start to finish. Through hands-on activities, campers will practice investigative techniques such as footprint and pattern analysis, evidence collection, observation skills, and decoding complex riddles and clues. Working as a team, they’ll analyze findings, follow leads, and use critical thinking to piece together evidence and uncover the truth.
This camp is perfect for curious minds who enjoy problem-solving, logic, and the thrill of cracking a case!
FEES
Camp Base Fee: $250 + HST, per child, per week
Before Care Fee (Optional): $5.00 + HST per child, per day
After Care Fee (Optional): $5.00 + HST per child, per day

Discounts:
If you have a MoD Family Membership ($65+ HST) you will receive 10% off the camp base fee. This may be used for up to two children per family, for each week of camp you register for. Click here to purchase a membership.
REFUNDS
Refunds: Cancellation requests received 5 business days or more before the camp start date are subject to a full refund. Cancellation requests within 5 business days of the camp start date are subject to a refund of 50% of the total camp fee.
Requests submitted after the start of the camp start date, but before the third camp day will receive a 25% refund for the remaining camp days. No refund will be provided for any requests submitted on, or after, the third camp day.
