Applications are kept on file for future vendor selection, so you only need to apply once! Museum staff will input your inventory into our POS system, set up your display, sell your merchandise, and let you know when a restock is necessary. Prioritizing Inclusivity & Local Vendors: The MoD supports and celebrates BIPOC-owned businesses, Queer-owned businesses and businesses owned by persons with disabilities. There is an option to self-identify as BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+ or a person with disabilities on our application form, however there is no obligation to do so. The MoD also seeks to support local artists and makers. Anyone can apply to be a vendor in the MoD gift shop, however, priority will be given to those mentioned above.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are priorities for the Museum of Dufferin. We believe it’s important to integrate these principles into the services we deliver. We continue to take steps to ensure marginalized and underrepresented groups are represented at the museum.

Equity is a principle and process that promotes fair conditions for all persons to fully participate in society. It recognizes that while all people have the right to be treated equally, not all experience equal access to resources, opportunities or benefits. Achieving equality does not necessarily mean treating individuals or groups in the same way, but may require the use of specific measures to ensure fairness.” – Canada Council for the Arts

Please fill out the form below to apply to be a vendor. Museum staff will only contact vendors that are selected to be in the gift shop that year.
